Here we try to answer the questions we most often get in stores, on our social media and emails.

"What are your opening hours?"

"How wide is this model?"

It is always very difficult to say about the width of models, as there are so many ways to experience the width of shoes. Cm width is one thing, but then the amount and shape of the upper material is very important, and you can only feel that when you put your feet into the shoes.

Measuring the width of shoes is also really difficult without cutting them completely, and we would very much like to avoid that :-)

"How long do these shoes last?"

They depend on how much and how they are used. We have seen 8-9 year old shoes that still work fine. They have been well cared for and used for their intended purpose and rotated with other shoes.

We have also seen shoes that are completely destroyed after a year of use. Everyday shoes that were used for hiking, running, the city tour and everything in between. Of course, they won't last as long.

In order for the shoes to last longer, we recommend that you regularly rotate between 2-3 pairs of shoes. In this way, the soles and materials will last much longer!

"Do you have to wear bare toes in your shoes?"

You don't need them. The barefoot purpose is about giving the sensation of walking without support, and being able to feel the surface as much as possible

So it's entirely up to you whether you go barefoot or not :-)

"Can you use orthopedic insoles in your shoes?"

There are many people who use orthopedic inserts in our shoes, as there is finally room for the toes in them.

It may not be our thinking and philosophy, but it is most important to us that the shoes you choose fit YOU and feel good on YOUR feet

"How do I return an item I bought online?"

"I've tried to call, but no one answers the phone"

Our telephone hours follow our opening hours.

Often there is only one employee in each store, and if they are busy serving people, they unfortunately cannot answer the phone. We try to call you back, but unfortunately we don't always get through. The best way to get in touch with us is to send an email to: support@maerkbare.dk
